Novel of the Month: Sina Queyras’s Autobiography of Childhood

It’s rare to come across such an emotionally taxing novel. To be honest, I had to fight back tears while reading it on the train. Queyras masterfully controls indirect discourse to portray disparate dealings with mourning and reflection.
